The 2024 State of the City Address will be held on Friday Feb. 2, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. In January 2023, Mayor Small talked about transforming the way the city provides tax relief, handles policing, cleanliness and youth and seniors programming.
The day began with a commemorative walk to the Atlantic City Civil Rights garden. It was followed by a service at St. James AME Church.
**Boil Water Advisory Lifted** The ACMUA recommends running faucets for three to five minutes to flush out service lines, clearing automatic ice makers and water chillers and draining and refilling hot water heaters set to a temperature less than 113 degrees.
**BOIL WATER ADVISORY UPDATE** More than 500 cases of bottled water were made available to Atlantic City residents on Saturday afternoon on a first come, first served basis.
The water advisory is expected to last at least two days. The City’s Health and Human Services Environmental Health Division recommends bringing boiled water to 112 degrees.
