Atlantic City Public Safety Director Sean Riggin addressed concerns about a recent shooting, noise complaints and police responses to disruptive youth during the June NAACP meeting.

ATLANTIC CITY – The Atlantic City Chapter of the NAACP held their June, meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Atlantic City campus of Atlantic Cape Community College.

Sean Riggin, the Director of Public Safety for The City of Atlantic City attended to discuss a recent shooting in Atlantic City and also to discuss noise complaints and the police response to rowdy youth.

Sean Riggin did not directly address that he is currently running for Sheriff against incumbent Joe O'Donahue.
Atlantic City Focus has interviewed Riggin on why he's running in November.
