ATLANTIC CITY — Four members of Atlantic City Council attended the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 55th Annual Legislative Conference, held Sept. 16–20, 2026, in Washington, D.C.

The gathering brought together lawmakers, advocates and community leaders from across the country to discuss public policy and issues affecting Black communities and other historically underrepresented groups.

Atlantic City Council President Aaron “Sporty” Randolph attended along with Council Vice President Kaleem Shabazz and Councilmembers Stephanie Marshall and Patricia Bailey.

Shabazz sat down with Atlantic City Focus to discuss the conference and other issues. Watch the first two parts of our interview below.
