The Party (Parties) were in B-More for the Preakness Festival and 150th Running of The Triple Crown Race

BALTIMORE - On Saturday May 17, 2025, the center of the horse racing world met for the 150th running of The Preakness Stakes.

The Preakness Stakes is an American thoroughbred horse race held on the third Saturday in May each year at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Preakness is the second race for the Triple Crown in horse racing.
The first race was theKentucky Derby held at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

There will be no Triple Crown winning horse this year because The Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty did not run in this year's Preakness. Journalism came from behind for an exciting win.

Even without a Triple Crown competing horse, racing fans and party goers flocked to the city of Baltimore all week.

The Preakness itself started at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Saturday evening. The Preakness festivities at Pimlico Race Course began at 9 a.m. in the morning and included track side performances from Wyclef and T Pain.
