ATLANTIC CITY - On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the NAACP-Atlantic City Chapter held their candidates night for the June 10, 2025 primary election.

Candidates included incumbent Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. and his opponent, as well as candidates for the New Jersey general assembly, Atlantic County Commissioner, Atlantic City's City Council.

NAACP's Council President stressed that Thursday's Candidates Night at Asbury Methodist Church in Atlantic City...was not a debate ...but an opportunity for the community to hear the candidates' platforms and plans for issues such as housing, taxes and safety.
