ATLANTIC CITY - The Atlantic City NAACP's 50th Annual Freedom Fund Gala Dinner took place on April 26, 2025, at the Hard Rock Casino Hotel.
The annual event is a dinner affair to raise money for youth scholarships. A few of the youth who will benefit from their involvement with The NAACP-Atlantic City Chapter were in attendance.
The chapter also uses this annual event to honor people for service in the community.
This year's winners included :
- Government Honoree: Atlantic City Councilwoman Stephanie Marshall
- Business Honoree: Johnathon Henderson
- Community Service Honoree: Tamara McNeill-Winbush
- Health Honoree: Jarrod Barnes
- Youth Impact Honoree: Tracey Triniwell, Executive Director of The Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City,
- Lt. Governor Sheila Y. Oliver Civil Rights & Social Justice Honoree:

- President's Award:
Michael Sampson, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
