ডেমোক্র্যাট নেতা সুব্রত চৌধুরীর “এডওয়ার্ড ডেভলিন মেমোরিয়াল অ্যাওয়ার্ড”  লাভ

নিউ জার্সি রাজ্যের ডেমোক্র্যাট নেতা সুব্রত চৌধুরীকে “এডওয়ার্ড ডেভলিন মেমোরিয়াল অ্যাওয়ার্ড” পুরস্কারে ভূষিত করা হয়েছে ।

গত ২৩ জুন, মংগলবার বিকালে এগ হারবার সিটির টিম স্টারস লোকাল ৩৩১ হলে আটলান্টিক কাউন্টি ডেমোক্র্যাটিক কমিটির পুনর্গঠন অনুষ্ঠানে  তাঁকে এই পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হয় ।

আটলান্টিক কাউন্টি ডেমোক্র্যাটিক কমিটির বিদায়ী চেয়ারম্যান মাইক সুলেমান ও নবনির্বাচিত চেয়ারম্যান ড. ওয়ালিদ আব্দরাবুহ সুব্রত চৌধুরীর হাতে এই পুরস্কার তুলে দেন ।

কমিউনিটির প্রতি অসামান্য সেবা এবং আটলান্টিক কাউন্টি ডেমোক্র্যাটিক পার্টির আদর্শের প্রতি অবিচল অঙ্গীকারের স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে তাঁকে এই পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

অনুষ্ঠানে  আটলান্টিক কাউন্টি ডেমোক্র্যাটিক পার্টির নেতৃবৃন্দ, সদস্য ,আগামী নভেম্বরের  মধ্যবর্তী নির্বাচনে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতাকারী ডেমোক্র্যাট দলের কংগ্রেসম‍্যান প্রার্থীসহ অন্যান্য প্রার্থীরা ও বিভিন্ন কমিউনিটির গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিবর্গ উপস্থিত ছিলেন ।

উল্লেখ্য, সুব্রত চৌধুরী একটানা চার মেয়াদে আটলান্টিক কাউন্টি ডেমোক্র্যাটিক কমিটি পারসন পদে নির্বাচন করে বিজয়ী হয়েছেন । তিনি দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ আটলান্টিক সিটি ডেমোক্র্যাটিক পার্টির সদস্য হিসেবে দলের সার্বিক কল্যাণে  নিয়োজিত রয়েছেন ।
