PHOTOS: Atlantic City Free Public Library Hosts 11th Annual MLK Read-In at Noyes Arts Garage
Community leaders, students and artists gathered to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through music, readings and reflection in Atlantic City.
ATLANTIC CITY – On Saturday January 17, 2026, the Atlantic City Free Public Library held its 11th annual MLK Read-In at The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University.
This year's event included Atlantic City Focus Arts and Entertainment Editor, Raymond Tyler. There was music of the civil rights era performed by the Atlantic City High School Choir. Veteran, Charles Garrett, read from one of Dr. Kings speeches and Atlantic City Councilman, Kaleem Shabazz, closed out the event.
