Murphy Writing Hosts Book Signing For Summer Hill 7
ATLANTIC CITY - A Stockton University-based writing group called Murphy Writing hosts a monthly open mic series at The Noyes Arts Garage, on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.
Murphy Writing was founded and named after long-time educator Peter Murphy, who taught English at Atlantic City High School. Murphy, for more than forty years, has led workshops for writers and teachers in the United States and abroad.
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Murphy Writing open mic series called World Above welcomed featured poet/actor Summer Hill Seven. The evening started with the open mic. Following the open mic portion, World Above celebrated Summer Hill Seven's latest books: Air and The Autobiography of Ray-Ray and other ancient ideas like hip hop.
Summer Hill Seven read from his books with an over flow of emotions ranging from happy and humorous to sad and serious.
