Drinks For Democracy Welcomed 3 Democratic 2026 Congressional Candidates

ATLANTIC CITY — On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, approximately 150 people attended Drinks For Democracy at the Cardinal Restaurant.

The two-hour event was a happy hour and meet and greet with local Democrats. Several elected officials and other candidates were on hand for the event.

The evening was highlighted by short speeches from the 2026 New Jersey Congressional candidates. Tim Alexander, Terri Reese and Bayly Winder all took the mic to explain why they should run against current US-Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-2nd, in November of 2026.
