New Podcast Begins with a Fond Farewell to Atlantic County Sheriff Eric Sheffler

We enter 2024 full of hope and excitement for what the future holds. Atlantic City Focus will host new podcasts in the New Year. We've welcomed Shameka M. Cottman and "Seek No Approval" and although I am a veteran Arts and Entertainment Editor, I cut my teeth on community journalism in the streets of Newark, NJ. Here at Atlantic City Focus, we will continue on our path toward encouraging civic engagement with my new podcast aptly named, "Civic Engagement with Raymond Tyler."

I caught up with outgoing Atlantic County Sheriff Eric Sheffler and we talked about everything from what the sheriff actually does to Sheffler's personal opinion about the importance of professional development, outreach programs and how Atlantic County reduced excessive force complaints.
