Bridging the Divide Brings Lawmakers, Law Enforcement and Community Activists to One Table

Community members, elected officials and advocacy leaders gathered in Galloway Township for a bipartisan public forum focused on state policy issues, public safety and civic dialogue ahead of New Jersey’s 2027 budget discussions.

EGG HARBOR CITY – On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, The community activism group Invisible Atlantic City held a round table discussion on topics ranging from integration to visions for the future.

The panel included local law enforcement in the person of Sheriff Joseph O’Donoghue. The law makers on the panel included Senator Vince Polistina, Asemblywoman Maureen Rowan and Assemblyman Don Guardian.

Cristian Moreno, Executive Director of El Pueblo Unido of Atlantic City was also on the panel along with Atlantic County Democratic Committee Chairman Michael Suleiman.

Toward the end of the evening Sheriff O'Donoghue directly addressed and engaged Sean Riggin who is running against the sheriff. Riggin was not on the panel but asked his question from the audience assembled at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, located at 75 S. Pomona Road, Galloway Township, NJ.
