Atlantic City 50-and-Over Basketball Team Scores Win in Frontcourt Masters Debut
Veteran players from across South Jersey put old hometown rivalries aside to represent Atlantic City as the Frontcourt Masters tournament tipped off in Ventnor.
VENTNOR – The Frontcourt Masters brought its basketball tournament back to the Atlantic City area for the fifth time Aug. 8-9, 2026, with this year's games moving to Ventnor after years at Holy Spirit High School.
The game were held at the Ventnor Educational Complex on Lafayette Avenue.
For the past five years, the Atlantic City Sixty-Sixers have represented the area in the tournament's 60-and-over division. This year, Atlantic City added a 50-and-over team — and the newcomers made their presence known by winning their first Frontcourt Masters tournament game.

Despite representing Atlantic City, the 50-and-over squad brought together players from communities across South Jersey, including Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Ocean City, Ventnor, Margate and Brigantine. Some players even put decades-old school and hometown rivalries aside to join forces on the court.
