Art-Beats+Lyrics Delivered An Amazing Night Of Art and Culture

Art-Beats+Lyrics took place on Friday September 12, 2025 at The Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia.

I was excited about attending Art-Beats+ Lyrics from the moment I read about it. The idea of being in a cultural hub with others that love art and culture along with great music (by great I mean classic hip-hop and R&B) just made me giddy (silly with excitement.)

Art-Beats+Lyrics did not disappoint.
The Cherry Street Pier is a massive venue that is comfortably big enough to walk through and include art instillations of every size. In fact they could have included 20-to-30 more artists.

If you got tired of walking there were plenty of places to sit. I decided to sit and enjoy a warm summer night's view of the water and the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Thanks to the sponsors food and drinks were available too.

I am happy that hip hop, dancing being paired with visual art and culture became "a thing" this summer. I had a great evening enjoying art and definitely did some networking/friend making.
