ART BEATS: Millville Third Friday Celebrates Art and Live Music

MILLVILLE – Third Friday in Millville, New Jersey, is a monthly community event in the Glasstown Arts District where local galleries, shops, and restaurants extend their hours to feature art openings, live music, and refreshments.

• When: Every third Friday of the month, typically running from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 or 9:00 p.m..
• Where: High Street, Millville, NJ 08332 (centered around venues like the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts at 22 N. High Street).
• Activities: New art exhibitions, artist meet-and-greets, live music performances, and open local boutiques and eateries.

On Friday, August 21, 2026, the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts curated an evening showing for their exhibitions Celestial Skies & On the Road Again.

The Riverfront offers several galleries of diverse art as well as classrooms and studios on their second floor.

While there I met the Executive Director, Diane Rogers. Rogers took a moment to discuss her work at The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts and more.

I also met artist and writer Kate Nardone and she discussed a painting she painted and pledged half the proceeds to a local animal charity.

The Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, curated a great 3rd Friday with artists, food and live music. Plus there were galleries, shops and artsy places along High Street holding events. 3rd Friday's offers a great opportunity to enjoy some art and interact with other art lovers and supporters of the arts.
