5 Things About the 1st Ever WDAS Live Day Party at Mr. Ivy

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia radio station 105.3 WDAS recently held their very first Live Day Party, according to on air personality Mimi Brown.

The event took place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Mr. Ivy, a mid-size, one room night club located at 459 N 3rd. Street in Philadelphia.

The party was broadcast live on WDAS from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Here are 5 Things that will help me decide whether I will attend the next one.

  1. Grown and sexy Crowd
I met some pretty friendly people who came out to have a good time and dance.
    That is always a plus.
  2. Day Party's Are Beautiful
There's nothing like getting dressed up, flirting with some pretty women, and dancing..and being back in bed by 10 p.m.
  3. Be Prepared to Stand.

The only seating was for people who bought out whole sections. I know that's how the young people do it. People over 40, however, not so much. I stood all day/night but I wasn't prepared to stand all day and night.

  1. No Food
For a party that started at 4 p.m. it would have been nice to have ordered some wings. On second thought, if they had served food, there was nowhere to eat them.
  2. $40 Parking
    The parking was the problem.
After driving around for 20 minutes, I found a lot right next to Mr. Ivy. I almost crashed my car when the attendant said $40 to self park in a lot. Since there was no street parking available close to the club, I paid it. The $40 will definitely be a factor when I consider revisiting Mr. Ivy.

I still had a good time. The people who came out enjoyed themselves as well. Here's a picture gallery to prove it.
