5 Reasons Why I Love La Quinta
Here's a list of 5 Reason why I can't wait to go back and why you and your family would enjoy The La Quinta Inn of Mount Laurel/Moorestown.

MOUNT LAUREL - One of the things I hate about being a travel writer is living out of a suit case and quite honestly my car.
In another column I will recount some of my hotel nightmares. I am glad to say that on my Memorial Day trip to the Philadelphia region I picked La Quinta Inn and Suites of Mount Laurel/Moorestown.

Spoiler Alert! I rated everything about my stay at La Quinta Inn Mount Laurel Moorestown a 10-out-of-10.

#5-Great , Wonderful, Friendly , Staff
Everyone I encountered from the front desk to house keeping made me feel at home.
Problem Solved! So, I had to attend a white party and my suit needed to be pressed. I needed a day of pressing. The front desk person easily recommended Larchmont Cleaners right down the street. I want to again thank Larchmont Cleaners. They, not only pressed my suit but cleaned it to perfection as well. I have not gotten quick and superior dry cleaning service like that in more than ten years. I looked great at the white party.
Let me mention the staff again. I got back to my room late and it was a pleasure seeing and interacting with the staff. Upon check out, the front desk person and one of the managers asked about my stay. I assured them I would be back.
#4 Plenty of Well Lit Parking
When I saw I was staying next to The Fun Plex on Memorial Day Weekend, I assumed parking was going to get tricky. However, I was never more than a few steps away from the front door. I came back every evening after midnight and the parking lot was well lit and safe.
#3 The Location
This was my first time staying in this part of Cherry Hill. I first thought that I might be a little farther away from Philadelphia than usual.
Not only was I super close to The Betsy Ross Bridge but where the hotel was didn't have any backed up traffic. Going from Philadelphia to the mall to the stores were all straight shots. In fact, the easy flow of traffic is something I hope no one picks up on.
The other great thing about the location is that it was close to everything I needed not in Philadelphia. La Quinta Inn at Mount Laurel/Cherry Hill is less than 5 minutes from Shop Rite, Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness and a host of retail stores and restaurants.
For families, La Quinta is right next to The Fun Plex water park. Your family can get swim suit ready in the room and walk over. The next time I have to go to Rowen University for an event, now I know La Quinta is right across the highway. I would still have to drive but Rowan greets you as you walk out the front door.
#2 The Breakfast and The Lobby
The breakfast each morning was delicious and alive with choices.
I had my pick of cold cereal, oat meal, toast, juices, potatoes, waffles, fruit and sausages. I mainly stuck to the potatoes and sausage when they served turkey sausage.
The lobby during breakfast was great, as people were milling about and exchanging greetings and some conversation. The lobby area is as comfortable as the room and after 5 p.m. includes a cash bar. During my stay I saw other guests working and plenty of young people, who were also guests, enjoying the lobby with friends and family. The lobby area was very cool. I look forward to staying a full week at La Quinta so I can sit in the lobby and read.
#1 The Room
The room was perfect.
The room was super clean! The TV was great. I wanted to sit in bed and just eat and watch TBS movies.
I had the bath room with the walk in shower and now I only want to stay at hotels with walk in showers. The fridge was big enough to accommodate my fresh produce. At first, I thought the room was a little small, there is no conventional closet. However, I even liked the fact the room was small because I didn't have to check seven or eight times to make sure I had everything. And the bed was so comfortable.
I repeat, the room was perfect.
My weekend was so packed that I didn't get to enjoy the pool or the gym. Still, I rate my experience, my room and the staff at La Quinta Inn of Mount Laurel/Moorestown at 10-out-of-10. When I have a week to stay and relax I want to go back.
