ATLANTIC CITY — The Worldwide Love and Unity Leadership Conference is coming to the resort this weekend to encourage interfaith cooperation and healing.

The Interfaith Winning World Changers will bring a full weekend of nondenominational fellowship to the Showboat Resort Atlantic City and Island Waterpark on Feb. 16-18. The family-friendly weekend will offer everything from seminars, to live concerts with local and global artists to various speakers from around the region and beyond. Urban contemporary Gospel recording artists James Fortune, Kenny Bobien, who is known for Gospel House Music, Earnest Pugh, Cardenia Monroe & Praise and Christian singer and comedian Jermaine Dolly are among the scheduled performers. There will also be a fashion show by world renown clothing designer JPratt.

Marc H. Blatstein, a certified health coach who specializes in diabetes and who has lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 63 years, is working with: Apostle Marvin Cratch, chief executive officer of Christian Vision Enterprises; Monica "DJ Monie B," who is CEO of Remnant Entertainment Television, vice president of Christian Vision Enterprises and does A&R for Clean Money Music; and Lady Dee Rollins, CEO of Sisters Strengthening Sisters who is also a television and radio host, to bring the conference to the resort.

“My vision is to have people smile and laugh at life again,” said Blatstein. “The powers of evil have reared their ugly heads again.”

Interfaith Winning World Changers describes itself as a movement of men and women who seek to embrace, empower, motivate, and encourage people of all walks of life to pursue their hopes and dreams. The interfaith conference welcomes people of all races and religions.

“I was raised in a melting pot,” Blatstein said. “I don’t care where you pray or what color you are, if your heart is good, you’re my friend. If your heart is not good, you’re not my friend.”

The 3-day conference will include:

On Friday: 

—        Meet and Greet reception with light refreshments

—        Concert featuring the Motown R&B Group, the Soul Cruisers t

On Saturday:

—        Breakfast

—        Breakout Sessions and Speakers

—        Waterpark Admission

—        Speakers and celebrity artists and

—        Entertainment with Gospel House DJ

On Sunday

—        A baptism in the heated pool at the Island Water Park

—        Breakfast Buffet

—         and a worship service with Ernest Pugh

— Pastor Garth G. Gittens, Sr. Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Philadelphia (Saturday)

— Minister Rodney Muhammad, president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and others.(Saturday)

Gittens stated that he wanted to see more people give themselves. "I want to see people’s lives turned around. Blatstein and Rollins, agreed.

“We all believe in God,” Blatstein said.

“We need to all come together in love, prosperity and unity,” Rollins said.
