ATLANTIC CITY – Atlantic City officials, food truck operators, entrepreneurs, and community members gathered at Gardner’s Basin on Thursday, May 28, 2026, to celebrate the launch of the city’s new food truck program with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The initiative brings licensed food trucks to two popular waterfront destinations — the Atlantic City Seawall at Gardner’s Basin and Captain O’Donnell Memorial Park — expanding dining options for residents and visitors while creating new opportunities for small business owners.

Mayor Marty Small Sr., members of the city’s Economic Development team, and participating vendors highlighted the program’s potential to support entrepreneurship, attract visitors, and add to the summer experience in Atlantic City. The City of Atlantic City has approved seven food trucks to date, with designated vending locations established at both sites.
