PHOTOS: Atlantic City Kite Festival Fills Bader Field With Color and Community Spirit

ATLANTIC CITY — The skies above Bader Field came alive with color on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, during the Atlantic City Kite Festival.

Hosted by the City of Atlantic City Office of Multicultural Services, the free community celebration brought residents, families and visitors together for an afternoon of kite flying, music, entertainment, food and family-friendly activities.

Attendees of all ages took part in the festivities, with free kites distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies lasted.

The festival offered the community an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, spend time with family and friends, and celebrate the cultures and people who make Atlantic City a diverse and vibrant community.
