By 8 p.m., on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, Atlantic City, the economic engine that drives the region was drenched. Before the storm moved into the area, however, some 35 miles away, Avalon held its family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration, complete with fireworks on the beach.
The Gala was more than a party. Several members of the Camden area were honored. Following the awards, there was a soul food buffet and a night of dancing.
