ATLANTIC CITY — Bangladeshi residents in South Jersey will be able to access passport and consular services without traveling to New York when a mobile consulate service arrives in Atlantic City on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
The service will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bangladesh Community Center, located at 2709 Fairmount Avenue.
The Bangladesh Association of South Jersey and the Bangladesh Community Center are jointly hosting the event as part of their ongoing community service initiatives, with support from the Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York.
During the one-day mobile consulate visit, Bangladeshi nationals will be able to receive assistance with:
Passport renewal and corrections
Dual citizenship application processing
No Visa Required (NVR) seal
Power of attorney certification
Attestation of official documents from Bangladesh
Issuance of allied certificates and other consular services
Zahirul Islam Babul, president of the Bangladesh Association of South Jersey; Zakirul Islam Khoka, general secretary; and Abdur Rafiq, chairman of the trustee board, encouraged the Bangladeshi community to take advantage of the local opportunity rather than traveling to the New York consulate.
