Atlantic City's Labor Day Weekend Starts with a Third Ward Police BBQ

ATLANTIC CITY – We all know that the summer of 2024 is quickly winding down. Here in Atlantic City the beginning of the end of summer is Labor Day Weekend.

On Thursday, August, 29, 2024 third ward Atlantic City Councilman, Kaleem Shabazz hosted his annual Third Ward BBQ with Police event at Brown's Park. The event marks one of Atlantic City's last neighborhood summer/outdoor events.
The day included vendors and give a ways. The event also had various organizations giving out information, children's books and school supplies.

The Atlantic City Fire Department brought out one of the trucks and gave out fire hats as they shared fire safety information. The Atlantic City Police Department y cooked and served up several hundred hamburgers and hot dogs.

Everything offered was free for those attending. Thanks to Kaleem Shabazz residents of The Third Ward did not have to wait for the weekend to enjoy this BBQ.
