Atlantic City to Swear In Mayor Marty Small Sr. and New Council Members at New Year’s Day Oath of Office Ceremony

ATLANTIC CITY — The City of Atlantic City will officially begin the new year by swearing in its newly elected leadership during a public Oath of Office Ceremony on Wednesday, January 1, 2026, at noon at the All Wars Memorial Building, 1510 Adriatic Avenue.

The ceremony will mark the start of a new term for Mayor Marty Small Sr., along with Councilwoman-at-Large Stephanie Marshall, Councilwoman-at-Large Patricia Bailey, and Councilman-elect M. Suhel Ahmed. City officials are inviting residents, families, and community stakeholders to attend and witness the formal transition of leadership.
Following the ceremony, the Atlantic City Council will hold its annual reorganization meeting, where council leadership roles and committee assignments are expected to be finalized for the 2026 governing year.
A celebratory reception for the community will follow at the Showboat Hotel, located nearby, on the first-floor Island Bar, offering residents an opportunity to greet city leaders and mark the occasion together.
