Atlantic City Public Schools, City Welcome Families at Back-to-School Celebration

ATLANTIC CITY – Atlantic City Public Schools collaborated with the City of Atlantic City to host a Back-to-School Celebration on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026.

Hundreds of students and families gathered at Pennsylvania Avenue School, where they received free school supplies, food and book bags courtesy of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. and Superintendent of Schools Dr. La’Quetta S. Small.

The celebration brought the community together as students and families prepared for the start of a new school year.
