Atlantic City Hosts First-Ever “Marry Me in AC” Group Wedding at Brighton Park

ATLANTIC CITY — Love took center stage at Brighton Park on Saturday, August 30, 2025, as 22 couples gathered for Atlantic City’s inaugural Marry Me in AC group wedding celebration.

The event, officiated by Mayor Marty Small Sr., welcomed couples exchanging vows for the first time as well as those renewing lifelong commitments. Set against the fountain in Brighton Park, with the Atlantic Ocean glistening in the distance, the ceremony created a picturesque backdrop for a day filled with romance and unity.

Family, friends, and community members surrounded the couples, who shared a collective moment of joy. Among them was a pair who chose to renew their vows in the same location where they first married three decades ago.

“Today shows that Atlantic City isn’t just about entertainment and tourism—it’s about love, family, and community,” Mayor Small said.

Following the ceremony, newlyweds and vow renewers had the opportunity to extend the celebration at a paid reception hosted at the Claridge Hotel.

The event was made possible through a collaboration between the city’s Vital Statistics Office under the Health and Human Services Department, the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, the Public Information Office, the Information Technology Department, and the Atlantic City Police Department.

With its blend of tradition, community spirit, and the unique setting of Atlantic City, Marry Me in AC left couples and guests with memories they’ll cherish for a lifetime.
