Atlantic City Chef Ecstasy Blackwell Strengthens Families Through “Dinner with Daddy” at Oceanside II Family Success Center
Monthly program at Oceanside II on Atlantic Avenue empowers fathers and father figures to build stronger bonds through simple, creative home cooking.
ATLANTIC CITY – Chef Ecstasy Blackwell has a passion for cooking and a long-standing commitment to serving her community. She has used her skills and dedication to families to spearhead the Dinner with Daddy initiative that is held at Oceanside II Family Success Center located at 3201 Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City NJ.
The monthly program was designed to encourage fathers, grandfathers, big brothers, and other father figures to learn creatively simple meal preparation to bring families closer together. The program, which started back in March 2025, has given more men in the community the confidence of preparing meals and has created the opportunities to bond with their children.
Each month the Dinner with Daddy program has hosted a variety of themed events and meal service that Chef Blackwell has effortlessly created. Her dedication was acknowledged at the Parent Leadership Recognition Luncheon on February17, 2026 when she was presented the Volunteer Appreciation Award by Tatsiana DaGrosa, Associate Site Director of the Oceanside II Family Success Center. When asked about her commitment to service, Chef Blackwell contributes her dedication to her family upbringing, in particularly dedicated to the memory of her mother.
