ATLANTIC CITY — Christmas was celebrated with great enthusiasm and festive spirit in Atlantic City.
Among the many Christmas observances were celebrations of the birth of Jesus Christ, prayers, religious gatherings, special church services, Santa Claus appearances, gift exchanges, Christmas tree decorations, and the serving of special holiday meals.

Atlantic City was filled with a festive atmosphere marked by colorful lighting, decorated Christmas trees, and a variety of celebratory events. The day brought together joy, laughter, and music, while churches across the city held special prayers and services. Children, in particular, were delighted by Santa Claus and the exchange of gifts around Christmas trees.
Known as a casino city, Atlantic City’s famous casinos organized a range of colorful programs and special events to mark the holiday. Many members of the Bangladeshi expatriate community attended these celebrations with their families.

At Christmas parties, members of the expatriate community expressed their joy through music and dancing. Many also decorated their homes with vibrant holiday lights. The enthusiasm of the younger generation growing up abroad was especially noticeable during the festivities.
Many people exchanged gifts at their workplaces, and various programs and gatherings were organized. On this day of family, social, and religious bonding, Christian families also visited relatives and loved ones.
Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr. extended Christmas greetings to the community.
The shared hope is that Christmas will bring happiness and prosperity to everyone.
